Business Development Coordinator – David Collins Studio – London, United Kingdom

Responsible to: business development manager

Overview:

A high profile luxury architectural interior design studio of 55 in Fulham, delivering world class projects across hospitality, retail and residential sectors, is seeking a business development coordinator to work with their current business development manager. This role focuses on assisting the business development manager across all new business and business development activities including effective research, analysis, reporting, forecasting and client relationship management. This role would be well placed with someone who has worked at a similar level within architecture and design who appreciates the values of a luxury brand.

Role and responsibilities:

The typical range of duties will include, but is not limited to:

Business development

assisting with new client enquiries, logging information, researching new clients and opportunities
assisting with commercial correspondence related to new business and business development including assisting with fee proposals
assisting in the preparation of materials and collateral for client meetings, including circulating minutes as required, liaising with graphics, updating studio collateral
assist with research and development on new territories and services
data entry and updates on the Client Relationship Management system (CRM)
producing in-house corporate marketing material alongside graphic designers
timely coordination, completion and issue of RFP’s, including graphic coordination and updating key studio credentials

Business development administration

maintain and update business development filing systems
completing project data sheets and logging relevant information in CRM, in print and in DCS system
assist with business development campaigns by maintaining spreadsheets, researching contacts, updating CRM and organising mail shots

Business Development Reporting

assist with the analysis of data from the CRM system implemented by the business
assist with the quarterly business development report with statistics on proposals both won and lost and subsequent lessons learnt

Existing Client Relations

assisting with current client correspondence and enquiries

Events

assistance with company events, including compiling guest lists, assisting with organisation of events and general support for event planning activities

Other

ad hoc assistance and support to the senior management team as and when necessary

well educated, degree level desirable, though business acumen and experience are more relevant
