CricHQ exists to ‘Make cricket even better’, and we will achieve that by continuing to innovate, digitising the administrative tasks, collecting and aggregating cricketing data, and providing a multichannel user platform. Our brand is truly global having developed client partnerships with 41 of the world’s 106 national governing bodies. The depth of our audience covers all those involved in the great game of cricket, from fans, players and coaches of the elite game; through to the parents and grand parents of kids who play the game at its grass routes, creating a powerful digital media platform for brands to find and engage their audience.
Role Purpose:
To generate leads and meet with prospective customers across CricHQ’s Europe, Africa and Americas region, persuading them to purchase advertising and sponsorship inventory on the CricHQ cricket platform and other associated products and services.

Our product is centric to the sport of Cricket, the world’s second most popular sport with a global following of over 3 billion people. Our recently established United Kingdom office manages growth opportunities across our key region of Europe, Africa and the America’s. With significant content wins already achieved within the region we are now looking to seize the initiative and grow our advertising model.
If you are a top performing media sales representative, with a proven track record of success and strong advertising and media agency relationships – then this role is for you. To get this role you will need to be good. Real good. And you will need to be able to prove it. You will need to be highly motivated, a self-starter and have a strong desire to do what it takes to succeed.
We have a very strong brand within our target market that generates a solid stream of inbound enquiries. This, in addition to your own lead generation efforts, will provide you with plenty of appointments so provided you have the ability to build rapport with prospects and close deals, you will succeed in this role.
Speaking of closing deals, our approach to a sales appointment is well defined, we have great supporting materials, and solid culture of process, systems and accountability.
The role in summary:
● A full-speed-ahead, fast paced ‘hunting’ role involving meeting pre-booked appointments with direct and agency business opportunities throughout our Europe, Africa and America’s territory.
● Generating your own leads and appointments to supplement the regular flow of inbound appointments that come from our marketing team.
● Destroying sales targets on a regular basis and reaping serious rewards for doing so.
● Selling and packaging advertising or sponsorship opportunities that help businesses engage their target audience and generate measurable results.
● Leveraging your already well established networks to sell products and services where there is already a proven strong demand for the products & services in the market place.
● A role with uncapped earning potential and compensation that will not disappoint!
● You will need a valid passport as international travel will be a requirement.
Are you right for this role? We are looking for:
● A minimum of 2 – 5 years digital media sales experience.
● Someone who gains pleasure out of smashing targets – and has the track record to prove it.
● A super positive attitude with high levels of motivation to succeed – this role is definitely not micro managed!
● A quick learner who can absorb a significant amount of product & specialist industry knowledge – full training is provided.
● Preferably a Driver-Expressive personality.
● The ability to ask potentially uncomfortable questions and respectfully debate points to overcome objections and help a prospect to understand the actions needed to achieve the success they desire.
● A general understanding of native digital apps and the ability to understand technical requirements that may be posed by an organisation.
● People who thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
● Very strong English communication skills – both verbal and written.
● The ability to persuade me you are the person for the role!
