Professional Sports Group has an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join the Athlete Team and drive revenues for our clients. JOB PURPOSE
• Create new business opportunities for our athlete roster based on agreed sales list.
• Generate new leads & introductions primarily for athletes, but also for wider PSG as appropriate.
• Network effectively within the Sports industry to exploit new opportunities as they arise.
• Generate income for PSG with particular focus on securing commercial opportunities through sponsorships predominantly.
• Identify and recommend new Athlete clients and opportunities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Employee will have a minimum overall target revenue to be decided with management team.
• Deliver revenue on PSG’s represented clients.
• Operate as part of the Athlete Team to develop creative commercial approaches.
• Leverage existing PSG network and own contacts to create a sales pipeline for new business.
• Report regularly to senior management on sales performance.
• Take overall responsibility for reporting in this arena.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• 1-3 years’ experience at a sports marketing agency.
• It is essential that the candidate has demonstrable experience in selling to sports organisations and companies that spend within the sports industry.
• The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the industry sector and should be able to demonstrate strength of network and relationships.
• Good research, networking and presentation skills (written, digital and personal).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred experience of CRM database management and reporting, preferably Salesforce.
• Degree educated.
