Job Description
The main purpose of the post is to provide an efficient and responsive administration service for the Welsh Sports Association. You will be the first point of contact for initial enquiries to the office, handle financial transactions and record keeping as well as organising training events, workshops and Board meetings.
Finance Duties
1. Undertake all banking and reconciliation, invoicing and payment of suppliers and online banking
2. Ensure clear and accurate records are kept of all transactions
3. Accounting software QuickBooks is used as the primary tool to complete such tasks.
Training
4. Organise training courses and workshops for WSA members
5. Manage training invitations and bookings, maintaining and managing delegate lists.
6. Liaise with training providers, ensuring their audio-visual needs are met, arranging rooms, hand-outs and other training materials as required.
General administration
7. Organise meetings for WSA board and staff including travel arrangements where necessary.
8. Attend WSA Board meetings and take minutes
9. Maintenance of databases and information systems
10. Dissemination of up to date information to partners – Including the use of the organisation’s social media accounts and website
11. Answering and responding to queries from external organisations
12. Supporting the governance of the organisation – Assisting with self-assurance completion, general contracts and other such documents.
13. Assisting the General Manager and Coaching Officer in day-to-day tasks and projects.
