Casual Coach – North West – Burnley FC in the Community

Job Description
Burnley FC in the Community is a leading provider of sporting provision across East Lancashire. One of the charity’s main objectives is to use sport as a vehicle to facilitate a meaningful, lifelong change in the lives of those who need it most. This ideology is achieved through the delivery of numerous programmes, including School Sport, Player Development Centres’, Mini-Kickers, Soccer Schools and the Danny Ings Disability Sport Project, amongst others.

The community scheme is looking to add to its pool of casual coaches to deliver on a number of community projects and is specifically looking for coaches who hold NGB qualifications in sports such as Football, Dance, Gymnastics, Cricket, Basketball, Dodgeball, Tri-golf and Athletics. If you hold a NGB Level 2 qualification in any sport, we would be interested to hear from you.

The successful applicant will possess:
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience of delivering National Curriculum Physical Education
• Experience of working within a sports coaching environment
• Experience of working with children and young people
• In addition to this, applicants must hold an up to date DBS check, current emergency aid and child protection certificates.

Hours of work will vary from daytimes, evenings and weekends within Burnley and the surrounding areas. Competitive hourly rates of pay are available for successful candidates.
