Chairman – England Golf Partnership

Job Description

The Board of the England Golf Partnership (EGP) is now seeking to appoint a new independent Chair to lead the EGP in the next stage of its work.

The EGP is a Limited Liability Partnership, established in 2005. Its vision is “To allow England to become the leading golfing nation in the world by providing more opportunities for participants to Start, Stay and Succeed in the game”. It has received a grant of circa £12.5m from Sport England to achieve key outcomes between 2013-2017. The Members of the LLP are England Golf and the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA).

The successful candidate is likely to have experience as a Chairman and substantial board experience; be able to apply a range of influencing skills; be an excellent networker; expert at managing relationships, demonstrate a track record of being involved in building collaborative and co-operative partnerships; and, have a strong network of connections within the government, civil service and relevant public bodies.
