South Nottinghamshire Alliance is being formed by a merger of Gedling CVS and Rushcliffe CVS and will be operational from April 2015. The organisation will provide services to charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and members of the public to improve the quality of people’s lives through effective and sustained voluntary and community action.
This is an ideal opportunity for a senior leader with drive, passion and extensive management experience to help shape the future of voluntary and community services in our region and lead our new alliance through an exciting next stage in its development.
You will demonstrate a passion for excellence in service delivery through your teams. With strong analytical and influencing skills, you will champion a credible and positive image of our organisation both internally and externally, working closely with all our stakeholders.
You will need extensive experience of leading and directing strategic planning and development within an organisation, including financial planning, risk management and managing change. You will have a proven track record of working successfully alongside a Board of Trustees/Directors in the strategic development of an organisation. This will include initiating and driving through change. Committed to equality and diversity, you will have the ability to manage competing priorities, deliver outcomes, and demonstrate entrepreneurial skills in attracting funding and income generation.
