Children and Young People Domestic Abuse Safety and Resilience Workers – SPLITZ SUPPORT SERVICE

are on a 12 months fixed term contract.

There are two roles,
one based in Northern Devon and the other in South and West Devon both with some home based working.
These roles are part of the Devon Domestic Abuse Behaviour Change Service which provides individual and family support to domestic abuse victims, perpetrators of abuse and their children. You will work alongside children and young people and their families, to create and deliver an outcome focused support plan and ensure timely support and interventions from other services when necessary to meet the CYP’s needs, and help them to increase their safety and resilience and make positive choices for the future.

Essentials:
– Full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business use insurance
– Minimum Level 3 qualification in related subject and/or previous experience of providing support for vulnerable children and young people (minimum 2 years)
– Knowledge of domestic abuse and how that impacts on children and young people
– Experience of creating and delivering outcome focused interventions

An enhanced DBS is essential for this role.
