Client Services Director – London – ukactive

Job Description
ukactive is a commercially minded but not-for-profit body comprised of members and partners from across the UK active lifestyle sector. Our focus is a long-standing and uncompromising vision to get more people, more active, more often.

We are looking for a Client Services Director to join our newly formed Client Services department with the agenda of deepening our engagement with our members, partners and suppliers.

The primary objective of the Client Services Director is to deepen the impact of ukactive with its key members and partners- through bespoke projects, services and events that create more opportunities to get more people, more active, more often.

The Client Services Director will work with ukactive key partners to design services, events and projects, which will benefit to ukactive members. The post-holder will be expected to lead the Client services team and cross functional teams in delivery of projects and services to key members and partners.

The Client Services Director is also ukactive’s key resource for raising sponsorship from corporates for ukactive led projects and initiatives impacting inactivity.

He/she should have an understanding of UK’s Fitness & Leisure industry, proven experience of account management & relationship management and come with a track record of project management and delivery.

The post holder will be a primary ambassador and leader for the organisation and inspire members, partners and colleagues to buy into and support the ukactive mission. The Client Services Director is our expert Account Director, constantly focusing on enhancing, deepening, and broadening our relationships with members and partners.

Person Specification:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• An ability to make a strategic impact on the organisation year on year in a way that clearly moves the organisation forward and into new areas
• Demonstrated experience in key account management & relationship management.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced workload independently and add value to multiple projects, events and programmes simultaneously
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as ability to lead a team
• A passion for fitness and an understanding of UK’s Fitness & Leisure industry.

Experience
• Strong Account Management experience
• Experience in project development and delivery. Experience in raising income and support from Corporates
• Degree educated & Management experience
