Club & Partner Business Support Coordinator
x1 Part time post – 18.5 hours per week

National role, with a focus area in and around the North West

Salary

£17,638.00 – £22,773.50 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience) + pension benefit
+ 34 days annual leave (includes Bank Holidays and Company Days)

Summary
The overall purpose of this role is to work in partnership with clubs and other delivery partners, volunteers and local organisations to implement and deliver local initiatives that will improve/ or sustain operations and create capacity to enable participation growth within the sport; and contribute to the delivery of the Local Delivery Plan, aligned to the Club and Partner Development Strategy.

The Role
The main responsibilities of the role are:
• Work with the Local Delivery Team Leader – Club and Partner to deliver support to clubs and partners in line with the Club and Partner Development Plan
• Providing support to partners to implement and deliver new programmes and initiatives aimed at growing capacity e.g. Satellite Club, New Activity
• Providing support to partners to implement and deliver new programmes and initiatives aimed at improving and sustaining participation e.g. Business Support
• Support the development of a plan to grow capacity and participation in a local area
• Coordinate the delivery of resource and tools for the local area
• Work with and support local partners regarding the implementation of a local delivery plan
• Supporting and engaging with the other Club and Partner Coordinators and Officers; and other colleagues, as appropriate, to ensure an holistic approach is applied to the delivery and integration of Club and Partner Development programmes, projects and interventions across the whole organisation/Participation Department
• Effectively communicate with national and other local delivery staff and external partners, presenting relevant feedback and perspectives
• Delivering presentations and informal workshops/sessions on behalf of BG.

The Person
The ideal individual will have/be able to demonstrate:
• Knowledge of gymnastics clubs and delivery partners operate (e.g. Leisure Providers and Schools) etc.
• To be proactive in facilitating and delivering key initiatives and projects
• Have competent administration/IT skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and partners
• A broad knowledge of gymnastics and its disciplines
• A good understanding of the process and purpose related to sport development, and an understanding of the range of partners and initiatives within this area
• Have sport development experience or a qualification in Sport Studies/Development (desirable)
• A good understanding of the organisations development goals.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car for work.
• A positive attitude towards work, and the ability to self-motivate to ensure tasks are completed whilst working remotely.
