NTU Sport in collaboration with The University of Nottingham, Nottingham College and the Football Association, are seeking an accomplished individual to lead and drive the development of football coaches in the Nottingham region, working at both grassroots and the elite level of the women’s and girls’ game.
This role will drive collaboration between Nottingham Trent University, The University of Nottingham, Nottingham College, local football providers and the Nottinghamshire FA, to support the successful development of a creative & effective coach development programme to provide female players with consistent and fit for purpose coaching.
In addition, the role will develop the women’s and girl’s football offer across both institutions, with specific focus on developing the student workforce.
The ideal candidate will hold a UEFA B Coaching licence. They will have an understanding of the FA LTPD-4 corner model as well as a complete understanding of FA DNA, coaching and learning philosophies. A knowledge and understanding of the FA Women’s Football Strategy and National Game Strategy is essential.
The post will be employed by Nottingham Trent University, but as the project is a collaboration between the partners outlined above, the role will work across both sites.
