Your Shout are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and extremely organised individual to join the London team. If you love having a good chat with every type of person and have a passion for community engagement and then please get in touch.

Your Shout undertakes professional community consultation for the built environment. We work for developers, local authorities and other clients who wish to contact, consult and listen to people in a specific community, neighbourhood or area. We are committed to strengthening relationships between land owners, communities and local councillors. We have 30 colleagues who work across our three offices in London, Birmingham and Newcastle.

Your Shout are looking to recruit a new community engagement co-ordinator to make a start in this field. We will be looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate:

excellent written and oral communication skills
excellent graphics skills (competent in using the Adobe Creative Suite)
experience in events/project management
an understanding of the role of consultation and engagement in community planning
an ability to tailor creative engagement techniques to different projects

This is a unique opportunity to make a genuine contribution to large-scale regeneration and strategic projects in London and throughout the UK. The new community engagement co-ordinator’s role will involve:

designing creative engagement techniques
organising and hosting public events (including exhibitions, workshops and charrettes)
designing graphic materials (leaflets, posters, games and other engagement tools)
working with our fieldwork team to enhance our consultation services
building websites and coordinating social media strategies
analysing consultation feedback and preparing reports
