Coordinator – Social Inclusion – Chelsea Football Club

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):
Deliver a first class provision of football and multisport activity across various venues within South West London, ensuring inclusion is the forefront of the project. Allowing participants to play sport in the environments they feel most comfortable.
To provide support, advice and guidance to Sessional Workers to equip them to deliver a variety of inclusive and targeted activities.
Build relationships with partner charities, schools, grass root providers, NGB’s and local authorities for the benefit of the Social Inclusion programme.
Support the Social Inclusion Officers with such duties as collecting registers, risk assessments, safeguarding duties, scheduling staff and quality assurance.
Lead on monitoring and evaluation for all female participation in accordance with the needs of each funder, complete project reports at 6-month intervals, or as and when required.
Ensure success stories are captured, working with Chelsea FC Foundation/Chelsea FC media staff.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE (Here to Win):
Develop methods to increase female participation across Chelsea FC Foundation’s Social Inclusion programme, identifying service gaps and opportunities for competitions, social action and qualifications.
Develop a female only ‘Youth Voice’, with regular meetings to gain ideas and thoughts for programme improvements.
Ensure success stories are captured through working with Chelsea FC Foundation/Chelsea FC media staff. Complete and submit project reports at 6-month intervals, or as and when required internally or in accordance with the needs of each funder.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
Qualifications:
Essential
Level 2 Sports Qualification.
FA Coaching Qualification, Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Children Certificates.
Educated to degree level or have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the industry sector.
Desirable
Level 2 Multi Sport Qualifications.
FA Youth Modules.
Youth Worker Qualifications relevant to the industry sector.
Experience:
Essential
Knowledge of Community Club organisations and Community led programmes.
Experience within a Head Coach Role, leading Casual Workers.
Proven track record of delivering female football engagement sessions and multisport programmes within various community settings. Ability to engage with hard to reach groups.
Desirable
Knowledge of the Chelsea FC Foundation.
Knowledge of local demographic and social needs.
Experience undertaking Social Action programmes with specific demographics within local communities.
The Employee must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to Chelsea FC Foundation policies and procedures in particular Health & Safety, Financial Authorisation, Confidentiality and with regard to the Data Protection Act. The Employee must act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Company’s premises. The Employee must report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Safeguarding Lead.
