£40,328 – £42,582 per annum (M5-M7)

The Curriculum Area Manager – Sport and Public Services represents a rare and exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to lead on curriculum development and innovation within a growing sector at Reaseheath College.
The Sport and Public Services department at Reaseheath has experienced significant growth and improvements in performance in recent years and has a current turnover of £1.6million. The department has recently benefitted from a multi-million pound investment resulting in the creation of state-of-the-art facilities such as a new four court sports hall, sector leading performance laboratory and bespoke fitness studios. In addition to this, the college also has an international grade 3G artificial rugby pitch (certified by the IRB), grass football pitch, multi-use games area, climbing wall, high ropes activities and a wide range of adventure sports specific equipment that facilitates learner participation in: climbing, mountaineering, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, mountain biking, archery and team building activities.
Reaseheath is looking for a dynamic and innovative leader and manager with strong people management skills, a passion for delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment and a drive for ensuring ongoing quality improvement and student progress. You will ideally have a background in Sport or Public Services with extensive experience of curriculum planning and implementation, both at further and higher education level. The College is looking for someone with the ambition to create sector leading provision in this area, inspiring and supporting our learners to achieve beyond their expectations.
