Responsibilities
To develop British Rowing’s data analytics capability:
• To provide data analytics expertise and leadership across a number of platforms including SAS and ClubHub (our club and membership management system) as required.
• Acquiring data from our proprietary SQL databases and other data sources/ databases.
• Maintaining data management standards.
• Developing and implementing new data analyses.
• Identifying, analysing, and interpreting new trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Preparing accessible visualisations and reports for dissemination at all levels.
• Locate and define new data collection process improvement opportunities.

To provide data analytics project management capability:
• To act as lead data analyst/ project manager for the British Rowing SAS partnership. Engage with the SAS project manager and SAS team to plan and coordinate resource and efforts across existing and future SAS-supported British Rowing analytics projects.
• Provide effective project management including creating work plans, relationship and resource management, effective project reporting/monitoring and communication.
• To assess, understand and support data management and analysis requirements across the organisation; working across the rowing community, membership, commercial, communications and performance directorates.
• To work with the Insight Manager, Head of Technology, Head of Performance Support and IT subcontractors to identify and access relevant datasets.
