Burnley FC in the Community continues to embark on a new chapter in its commitment to working across Burnley and the surrounding East Lancashire boroughs. We’re looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced senior manager to the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Our work aims to inspire, support and deliver change in the community.

We are an ambitious and highly progressive charity, we’ve grown considerably in the last 12 months, with numerous new opportunities now available to further develop our services and become a market leader in community development.

The Deputy Chief Executive role will play a leading role in developing and implementing a wide range of community services. You will be responsible for contributing to the charities strategic objectives, developing new partnerships, maintaining existing partnerships, and managing some day to day aspects of the charities work. You will have a strong background in some or all of the following areas; community development, sports development, education, fundraising and charity bid writing, human resources, charitable policy and financial management.

The successful candidate will be commercially aware with experience in strategic planning, project development and operational management, along with a passion and commitment for our charitable cause and vision.
