UK Sport, the organisation that drove the medal success at the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games is looking to appoint a Deputy Director of Performance to work alongside Chelsea Warr, Director of Performance for UK Sport to take performance of Olympic and Paralympic sport to the next level.
We’re looking for someone who has in-depth experience of working in high performance sport, who knows what it takes to win at the highest level of sport and has delivered it.
We’re looking for an innovative and creative thinker who is constantly seeking new and better ways to improve performance who is always that one step ahead of the competition.
We’re looking for someone who can inspire performance leaders across the sector who can bring and keep them on the journey even when that journey enters into the unknown and challenging.
We’re looking for a courageous high performance thinker, someone with exceptional judgement and likes working with the facts, an intelligent decision-maker and someone who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo in the pursuit of excellence.
You will also have significant experience operating at a senior level, managing skilled and experienced staff with a demonstrable track record of leading high impact improvement in a variety of performance sport contexts.
