We are looking for a deputy head of editorial to join our expanding team of journalists at MNA Digital.

With a monthly combined audience of 2.6m unique browsers, the MNA’s network of site, including ExpressandStar.com and ShropshireStar.com, are leading the way in delivering news digitally around the region

You’ll be working closely with teams of news, sport and video journalists to ensure readers are presented with the latest information, in the most engaging ways possible.

This role will require someone who is self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about exceeding expectations and thrives under pressure. You will need a sharp eye for news, be able to get
a breaking story online within seconds and constantly be thinking about how our websites can be enhanced.

Working alongside the newsdesk of the country’s biggest selling evening newspaper, you’ll need to have a sharp news sense and a good eye for web design.

The successful applicant will need to be an experienced, qualified journalist, and will be based from the city centre office in the heart of Wolverhampton

Salary will be competitive and the role includes 25 days annual holiday per calendar year plus other benefits.
