People Management, the UK’s biggest HR title with a monthly circulation of over 140,000, is seeking a digital content coordinator to help expand its digital offerings to new audiences.
People Management is seeking a bright, enthusiastic, hard-working person to play an integral role in our editorial team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the technical production of our hugely popular UK daily news bulletin (with 180,000 subscribers and rising), as well as weekly overseas newsletters.
You’ll also be responsible for building our social media presence in international markets through a variety of channels, as well as helping the UK team manage our digital presence back home. And you’ll have the chance to contribute to our online and print news teams by researching and writing stories, and attending events.
Key responsibilities
Setting up and managing social media platforms, sharing content through these channels and responding to reader feedback
Monitoring social media discussions about digital and print content, and reporting on engagement rates
Building up social media audiences, by seeking out those who might be interesting in our content and engaging with them
Moderating LinkedIn groups, including discussions and memberships
Daily production of three email bulletins, including the input of headlines, links, and promotional messages, and loading news articles into a content management system (CMS)
Liaising with advertising operations team on advertising content
Loading content into web and app CMS
Occasionally contributing news stories and opinions articles to our UK news operation
Attending networking events and conferences as required

Skills Required
Good problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to thrive in the face of a tight deadline
A nose for news and a keen sense of what works (and doesn’t) online
Experience or knowledge of content management systems, and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Basic working knowledge of HTML
Background in, and experience of, journalism – including the ability to demonstrate writing capabilities
