Fusion Media, the specialist cycling and endurance sport PR and social media agency is seeking an experienced Digital Manager
Working as part of a versatile and fast-paced team of eight, the successful candidate will be comfortable heading up digital strategy for clients, including social media and content. Experience of SEO best practices is preferable. They should be passionate about sport with a sound knowledge of cycling and running, both from a participation and sporting standpoint.

*** The Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overall client digital strategy and implementation, working with Fusion Media’s Managing Director, Social Media Executive and digital platform partners. The successful candidate will champion digital in our day-to-day business.
Key tasks:
– Build and grow client social media channel reach and engagement across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Strava.
– Develop strategy and day-to-day content plans for social channels, websites and PR campaigns.
– Storyboard and plan creative content, with a focus on video, to meet client’s social and content objectives.
– Work with Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc) to monitor progress and spot opportunities for growth and better customer understanding.
– Monitor and analyse the performance of different data sources to provide recommendations for future activity.
– Work with existing PR and social media teams to bring your digital experience to our day-to-day.
– Build robust audience understanding, based on data, and deliver strategies that meet their needs.
– Seek new and innovative digital strategies, that better results, to present to internally and to clients.

The right candidate will be versatile and knowledgeable about the evolving digital media landscape. They will be able to work in an exciting, changing and fast-paced environment.
They also need to have excellent attention to detail, have a first class writing ability and be able to provide ongoing day-to-day support across several clients. They will be comfortable working independently and part of a small team, as well as having the confidence to meet and network with new and existing clients.
Essential Skills/Experience:
– A minimum of three years’ digital experience, preferably in sport. This can be agency or client side.
– A strong and up-to-date understanding of client competitor activity, relevant industry and technical knowledge in the digital space.
– Good understanding of trading metrics such as sales, traffic, conversion.
– Good understanding of SEO best practices.
– Ability to clearly and concisely communicate successes on a regular basis to clients, in a structured manner.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work both as part of a small team and independently. Must be comfortable in a small team.
– A ‘can do’ and positive attitude. We don’t have meetings about meetings.
– Incredible attention to detail.
– A willingness to grow and develop in the company
Desirable Skills/Experience:
– Full UK driving licence.
– Adobe Creative Suite software platforms.
