MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):
To deliver high-level football sessions that are appropriate for the group that you are working with.
To support and ensure the Risk Assessments for the sessions are completed for each activity with the Head Coach.
To ensure all sessions are safe and fun and in line with the Foundation’s requirements.
To follow the Foundation policies on Safeguarding.
To report any issues to the Sensory Coordinator immediately or escalate accordingly.
Interact with participants and their family members on a professional basis.
Provide a fun environment based on the participants needs.
Check and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
Commit to attending the sessions a minimum of two hours before the start of the specific event.
To ensure all participants and their family members have left the stadium safely.
To report any equipment issues immediately to the Sensory Room Coordinator.

To maintain high quality standards at all sessions.
A trustworthy, reliable approach to work being able to multi-task and problem solve in a calm manor.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
Qualifications:
Essential
Up to date and current DBS.
Safeguarding & First Aid Certificate.
Experience:
Essential
Extensive Sensory and Autism specific experience.
Extensive knowledge of the Disability Inclusion.
Structured, well-organised and meticulous attention to detail.
Self-motivated and a desire to improve the opportunities for disabled people.
Ability to work in a confident and flexible manner and understand the importance of private and confidential material.
Good level of BSL or Makaton.
The Employee must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to Chelsea FC Foundation policies and procedures in particular Health & Safety, Financial Authorisation, Confidentiality and with regard to the Data Protection Act. The Employee must act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Company’s premises. The Employee must report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Safeguarding Lead.
