Job Description
Bolton Lads & Girls Club are looking for two Duty Officers with strong administrative and IT skills, who have experience in working with customers and managing facilities to a supervisory level, to support the smooth running of our new purpose built Sports Facility at Hacken Bridge Road, Bolton BL3 1SD, which houses a pavilion and state of the art 3G football pitch. They will be responsible to the Commercial Manager (Sports).
The role includes:
– Opening and closing of the facility
– Providing high level customer care to hirers/users and supervising all adults/ young people using the facility
– Working on the reception desk; taking bookings, handling cash, answering phone and dealing with customers
– Some tidying and cleaning as required
– Setting up equipment and carrying out regular maintenance work to ensure it is safe and in working order
– Responsibility for all on-site first aid needs
– Selling refreshments and helping support special events
– Being professional, sharing the club’s values as a key member of BLGC
Hours:
A minimum of 15 hours are offered over 3 or 4 days, possibly more, depending on usage at the facility. The role involves weekend and evening work and so a flexible approach is essential. Typical working hours include:-
Monday to Friday 17.15 – 22.15
Saturday 08.00 – 14.00
Sunday 10.00 – 13.00
