Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and inspiring Employability Officer to join the Foundation team, with responsibility for developing, coordinating and delivering our award winning Education and Employability programmes.

Working with approximately 300 participants per year, you will be responsible for using the power of sport to recruit and engage NEET young people and other client groups and supporting them into education, training or employment.

In addition to direct delivery to course participants, you will be responsible for leading and developing relationships with key partners, chairing meetings with referral agencies, monitoring and evaluation, budget management and impact reporting. You will also develop links between employability projects and wider Foundation activities and provide support for our traineeship and apprenticeship programmes.

You will have experience of programme coordination and development, preferably in an employability context, excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust your delivery style to the needs of the audience. You will be experienced in delivering workshops in a classroom setting and developing resources.

You will have a first class work ethic and a forward thinking approach to ensure all programmes achieve their desired outcomes. You will also require an enhanced DBS.

A full, driving licence and access to a vehicle/ability to travel independently is required.

This is a fixed term post until August 2019.
