SV Sports Therapy is a passionate Sports Injury business founded in 2010 by BSc (Hons) Sports Therapist Sophie Vowden.
With 2 clinics in Loughton and Harlow, Essex and a pop-up clinic in Chingford, London, we are proud to announce we are expanding our fantastic team.
We believe in delivering a superior standard of care and expertise to our clients ensuring we improve their healthcare and lead them to achieving their daily or sporting goals.
The successful candidate will play an essential role in helping athletic and non-athletic members of the public to ensure they reach their health goals and get them out of pain.

The role
Self employed, part time Sports Therapist.
Permanent working hours to work with clients in clinic and liaising with clients via email and telephone calls.
Clinic shifts are negotiable and dependent on the availability of our clinic rooms.
Remuneration is per client appointment and based on your level of expertise and professionalism and scope to increase this.
The opportunity to grow professionally at SV Sports Therapy and to work up to Senior Sports Therapist with a higher level of responsibility and remuneration to reflect this.
SV Sports Therapy will provide the clinic room, all equipment, your personal mobile work phone, website, booking system, virtual receptionists to help book your clients, personal email address, Clinic professional sports tops and cover all appropriate costs.
The Therapist will deliver a high quality specialist service by providing expert clinical intervention, education and support to our clients. We want you to grow with us!

Duties
• Working with clients in clinic – Examination, assessment, treatment and rebooking clients to a professional standard. Mentoring by Sophie Vowden will be given
• Assist in the development of SV Sports Therapy by actioning internal and external marketing material (monthly newsletter, social media posts, attending networking events, creating ideas)
• Working with our 3 local charities and other charities, participating in annual workshops and events.
• Generating referrals from existing clients, recommending new clients to you in clinic and to grow your professional client base.
• Liaising with previous and potential new clients via telephone calls
• Continued Professional Development meetings take place every fortnight for 2 hours
• To cover clinic shifts from your colleagues when they are on annual leave.

Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum Degree in BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy, Physiotherapy, Sports Rehabilitation
• Relevant registration and public liability insurance with SST, CSP, HCPC
• At least 1 year’s Graduate experience working in a professional Sports Injury clinic
• Evidence of regular Continued Personal Development portfolio

Desirable
• Experience working in a sports team as a Sports Therapist
• Dry Needling qualification
• Mat Pilates qualification
• Cupping qualification
• Strength and Conditioning qualification
