That’s a big challenge we’ve set ourselves and to do this and you will be a motivated individual to join the finance business partnering team to support a business with approximately £300 million of funding per year.
Reporting to a Senior Business Partner this role is a key part of the business partnering function to provide advice and guidance to improve the impact and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance.
You will be a professional qualified accountant with a proven ability to work collaboratively with team members, colleagues and senior managers while still providing effective and constructive challenge, ideally within the public sector. Effective communication and analytical skills are also required with the ability to present complex messages in a meaningful way using a range of finance metrics. It is also important to be able to well-planned and deliver insight that links financial reports to business/directorate objectives and strategies.
