ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is capable of hitting the ground running. You’ll make the most of a handover period with our Finance Manager to assume full responsibility for running a busy finance function.
This will be a busy and varied role and represents a really good chance to experience a unique environment as the BPA gears up for the final preparations to deliver a best-prepared team at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. The environment is very positive and fun as you would expect in a sporting organisation, but we work hard.
As a member of our team, you’ll take the lead on our year-end and audit (we have a 31 March year end), on budgeting for our next 4-year Games cycle and reporting to budget-holders and Board. You’ll also make sure the key financial transactions that are integral to the Games timetable happen on time.
As well as being highly organized and technically skilled, you’ll be great with people!
And we’ll be doing everything we can to support you every step of the way – we’re committed to helping all of our staff develop their skills and reach their full potential.
