Job Description
FS Derby Futsal Club are one of the UK’s fastest growing, community focused Futsal Clubs. A member of the FA National Futsal League, the club boasts male and female players ranging from the age of 7, up to their open aged adult sides.
Ahead of the 2016/17 season, the club are looking to recruit a new First Team Head Coach to join their talented and experienced team of coaches. The role will be a full time post from September 2016, with some part time commitment from July 2016.
The candidate will be responsible for the management and coaching of the men’s first team squad, who are set to compete in Division Two North of the FA National Futsal League. They will oversee a team of coaches, working with the club’s management team to ensure that the club philosophy and development plan are met and delivered effectively throughout the club.
It is essential that interested candidates possess:-
– A minimum of FA Futsal Level One Coaching Award, with a willingness to begin work towards Level Two this summer. (Foreign equivalents will be considered)
– At least 12 months experience in Futsal Coaching at a senior level. If UK based, FA National Futsal League or BUCS coaching experience ONLY, will be considered.
– A desire to buy in and enhance the development of a growing and thriving community orientated club structure, including a willingness to lead on all areas of coaching and inspire players from across the club.
It is desirable that the candidate have:-
– Previous knowledge of FS Derby Futsal Club and it’s playing squad.
– Knowledge of position of Futsal in England and the commitments required to compete in the FA National Futsal League.
– A history of success within club and player development on their CV.
