Job Description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Kit Manager to work with the first team. You will be responsible for managing the training and match day kit and equipment for the first team players and backroom staff. Duties to include:-• Ensuring all staff and players are provided with training kit as required for training sessions.
• Manage laundry staff for training and match kit requirements.
• Co-ordinate and organise the kit and equipment for matches as required.
• Work with the first team head coach to ensure that set deadlines are met.
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of the training equipment. Maintaining records of the equipment and organising the repair as required.
• Responsible for ensuring that the required training equipment is available and if necessary on occasion, set up prior to training sessions.
• Ensure accurate clothing allocations are made to each team/player and staff.
• Managing the stock levels of training and match day kit and equipment.
• Prepare for travel and fixtures.
• Managing budgets for kit/equipment, laundry and kit vehicles.
To be successful in this role, you must have good organisation and prioritisation skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and be team player.
Previous experience in a similar role in within a sporting environment would be an advantage.
Driving license is essential
This is a full time role that includes working unsociable hours on weekends and evenings.
