Football Development Officer – Birmingham Football Association

Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Birmingham County Football Association. We are requesting applications for a highly motivated team player to support the successful delivery of the County FA’s National Game targets and Business Plan objectives. The principle responsibilities will be:

 Plan and deliver innovative programmes and projects to deliver business targets to retain and grow participation across the adult 11 aside game in line with County FA targets.
 Develop, co-ordinate and monitor all aspects of football development relating to the education sector, with a strategic focus on new and existing further and higher education initiatives.
 To take specific responsibility for work linked to the objectives of the business plan
 Work flexibly across the CFA to support all business functions as and when required by the SFDO, FDM & Senior Management Team
 Contribute to raising the profile and the perception of the County FA delivering our Customer Excellence strategy
 Keep designated web site pages up to date and topical, and embed digital marketing across delivery to raise the awareness of specific initiatives and other business products and services
 Analyse and use national and local data & insight to design and deliver customer focused initiatives linked to individual and team work programmes
 Work strategically with Leagues and partner organisations to deliver the Business plan objectives

Applicants should be of graduate calibre and have experience of football development. It is desirable that you have current sports development background together with an understanding of the FA National Game Strategy.
