Football Development Officer Disability and County Welfare – Dorset County Football Association

Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen at the Dorset County Football Association for a Football Development Officer to lead on Disability and County Welfare.

We are looking to employ a self-motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who wants to make a positive contribution to grassroots football in Dorset. The successful applicant will lead on all operational aspects of Safeguarding and Disability Football. Administrative support will be available to administer the FA Safeguarding Minimum Operating Standards.
The role will report to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Safeguarding and to the County Development Manager for Disability.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate within their application the ability to meet the essential skills in the Role Profile.

The successful applicant must also be able to demonstrate excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.

Please note that this is a Fixed Term Contract role until 30 June 2019 in accordance with FA Funding.

The successful applicant will be based at the DCFA Offices, Blandford Close, Hamworthy, Poole: please note that normal working hours are 8.30 am – 4.30 pm but some evening and weekend work may be required.

A Criminal Records Check will be carried out.
