Job Description
Nottingham Forest in the Community are looking for a qualified and experienced professional to manage and develop their football development programmes, including Soccer Schools, Advanced Coaching Centres, Curriculum and After School Coaching programmes.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Lead the promotion and delivery of the Nottingham Forest Soccer School programme.
2. Lead the promotion and delivery of Curriculum and After School Coaching programmes.
3. Achieve set performance targets and KPI’s relating to programme income.
4. Ensure that all programmes are structured and high quality, following the appropriate schemes of work and linking into national curriculum, national governing body strategies and outcomes.
5. Monitor and evaluate stakeholder engagement and provide reports for senior management.
6. Manage and motivate a team of dedicated staff.
7. Ensure all online booking systems and programme information is current and accurate.
8. Ensure that all staff and programmes are fully compliant with the latest safeguarding and health and safety legislation.
9. Attend meetings and represent Nottingham Forest Football Club in the Community at events.
10. Be a positive role model and engage people of all ages and abilities in positive football activities.
11. Develop and maintain effective positive working relationships with schools and partner organisations.
12. Represent Nottingham Forest in the Community in a professional manner at all times with respect to attitude, work ethic, appearance, conduct and personal hygiene.
13. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities required to commensurate with the grade of the post.
14. Report directly to the Operations Manager and be ultimately responsible to the Chief Executive Officer.
Experience and Qualifications – Essential
1. Graduate or graduate calibre.
2. FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate.
3. FA Youth Award Module 1.
4. FA licensed coach or the willingness to become one.
5. Experience of delivering football programmes to children and adults in schools and community settings.
6. Experience of working with and developing grassroots and elite players.
7. Experience of managing projects and meeting agreed targets and timescales.
8. Experience of producing management reports.
9. Experience of managing a team of staff.
10. Ability to develop partnerships, programmes and business opportunities.
11. Experience of implementing robust monitoring and evaluation systems and measuring outcomes.
12. Understanding of the National Curriculum & HE frameworks.
13. Ability to follow direction and work in a focussed and outcome driven environment.
Experience and Qualifications – Desirable
1. FA Level 3 Coaching Certificate/UEFA B.
2. FA Youth Award Module 2.
3. Ex professional/academy football player.
4. Experience of generating income and accessing funding.
