We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, experienced individual that can lead, manage, and improve performance and delivery at two of our six high quality, accessible leisure centres within the city. As one of three General Managers, you will deliver the operation of the service through front line teams, ensuring maximum occupancy and utilisation to meet performance objectives, whilst also programming to meet resident and community needs. You will deliver key functions of building management, health and safety, fitness sales and retention, swim school growth, with daily advice, problem solving and resolutions on complex issues, being responsible and accountable for meeting industry standards.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience of supervising, managing and supporting a diverse range of staff to deliver a first-class leisure service and knowledge and expertise of HR related issues.
The position has service wide responsibility for Building Maintenance, Repairs, Water, Small Scale Capital Improvements, Energy and Environmental Efficiency, and Innovation, alongside Water Management and Pool Plant Operation and Development.
This is a key position and forms part of the wider senior management team and manage a set of leisure centre site-based management and a dedicated pool plant technician, offering a range of high quality and accessible facilities for our diverse communities.

The starting salary is £46,549 (Level One) rising to £48,587 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).
