Job Purpose:
To be a dedicated and focused sports coach with a drive to develop female goalkeepers to meet the demands of the Football Association Women’s Super League and a professional training environment
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
– To be responsible for all Reading Women 1st Team and Development Goalkeepers
– To maximise technical, tactical, and psychological preparation and performance of the Goalkeepers in line with outfield training schedules and the FA WSL season
– To work at various locations with a combination of academy, development squad, 1st team players, and to work alongside the Coaching staff
– To adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Reading Football Club Women’s Team and its operation
– To be presentable at all times when working and demonstrate that you can represent the face of the club in the manner expected
– To maintain Reading Football Club’s Safeguarding (Child Protection), Health, Safety and Equal Opportunity procedures and practice
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have
– A interest and knowledge in Women’s Football and enthusiastic about developing Women’s Football at this exciting time
– Previous experience in planning sessions and training programmes
– Experience of Goalkeeping and the demands on Goalkeepers
You will have an FA B License Goalkeeper Award and be computer literate
