Job Description
BeDiscovered Football Academy (BDFA) is a new and innovative Football Academy that is aiming to replicate the practises used by professional academies around the country. Using the links within BDFA, matches against academy sides and visits from professional scouts are lined up allowing our talented young players the platform to showcase their ability against the best.

BDFA are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative coach to join the team.
This role requires a multi-talented individual with Goalkeeper coaching certification along with the ability or understanding to deliver age appropriate physical exercise. Passion for the sports science element of football is a distinct advantage along with any exercise related certification although these elements are not essential. Regular feedback and reporting will be part of the role in order to monitor player development.

Roles & Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver Goalkeeper sessions for players 7-11.
– Plan, Design and execute school session for players 7-11
– Plan, Design and execute Academy sessions for players 7-11
– Recruit players for BeDiscovered Football Academy
– Reporting on individual every 6 weeks (Academy)
– Use video analysis to monitor and improvement of Goalkeepers.
– Lead delivery of age appropriate strength & conditioning sessions in line with prescribed BDFA syllabus.
– Conduct sports fitness testing in line with prescribed BDFA syllabus.
– Attend match day fixtures where necessary to oversee pre- & post-match exercise methods.

Essential:
– Minimum FA Level 1 Goalkeeping certificate.
– Previous Goalkeeping experience as a player or coach.
– Up to date DBS Check (Minimum 1 year remaining).
– Understanding of physical exercise methods.
– Safeguarding Children Certificate.

Desirable:
– Driving license & Full access to a vehicle.
– Previous experience working with children.
– Up to Date Emergency First Aid qualification.
– Completed/working towards a qualification in exercise provision.
– Passion for sports science and physical conditioning.
– Excellent written & verbal feedback skills.
– FA Youth module certification.
– Understanding of elite football environment.
