St Peter’s School, founded in AD 627, is one of the oldest schools in the world. It occupies a 47-acre campus on the banks of the River Ouse, and lies within a short walk of the centre of the historic city of York.
We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic graduates to join the Sports Department at St Peter’s School, York (3-18), which has an outstanding reputation for its sports programme. Applicants must have a degree in Sports Science or other sports related course. No teaching qualification is required though the successful candidates will need to hold a relevant First Aid Qualification.
This is a full time, term time only role with a salary of £12,000 p.a. In addition you will be offered free accommodation on site, food during term time, sports kit and parking on site. These posts will initially be for one year, but could be extended for a further year for the right candidates.
Interviews will be ongoing, so early applications are encouraged.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will, at the School’s expense, be subject to checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
