An exciting opportunity for the right candidate, as we are growing and building more networks with schools in the local area, we are looking for the right person to represent our company and provide the best sport services and P.E to these schools.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Excellent knowledge and hold qualifications of sports coaching, which should include; A Recognised NGB Level 2 Coaching Certificate, Child Protection Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Enhanced CRB clearance and/or no convictions.
2) Experience and knowledge of working with children & young people. Competency to perform at consistently high standards in a school environment; Be able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs.
3) Set up & deliver high quality sports coaching sessions to children and young people. Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles. Knowledge of the school PE National Curriculum (not mandatory).
Main Duties; Delivering sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study, extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods.
Skills and Experience : Own transport and basic computer skills are required, Reliable with strong time management skills. Applicants must also be self-motivated and have a passion for coaching and inspiring young people through engagement and participation in physical activity and sport. Successful candidates will undergo constant ‘in-house’ training and personal development and will be expected to attend additional external training to improve their understanding of their role and gain additional coaching qualifications
The job will initially be teaching Gymnastics and Dance to primary school children in various locations on a part time basis, but with experience and further growth in the business, more hours will be available for work.
