Further information
We are recruiting a Head of Event Programmes to oversee the delivery of the responsible investment industry’s flagship annual conference, PRI in Person, and further grow its global events offering by rolling out a series of high-profile regional conferences that bring together signatories, the broader investment industry, the UN, policy makers, academics and the media.
The emphasis of this role is on content, particularly idea generation, competitor and audience research, agenda development, and speaker acquisition and management. However, the Head of Event Programmes will also work with the PRI’s senior management team, colleagues responsible for event logistics and operations, as well as staff based outside London to devise and deliver a holistic global events strategy that drives signatory recruitment and engagement.
The PRI currently hosts more than 100 events globally each year under its own brand or with strategic partners, ranging in scale from PRI in Person – expected to draw close to 1,000 delegates to London in September 2015 – to smaller roundtables of CEOs/CIOs and informal networking drinks.
The ideal candidate will have a good track record of programming and managing medium-to-large scale conferences aimed at financial market/investment industry professionals.
An ability to research and identify market trends is key to the role as are your excellent networking, relationship management and interpersonal skills and your experience of coming up with innovative conference features.
