Vision-aligned with Floreat’s high aspirations and explicit virtue and knowledge conception.
Curiosity to always question the status quo and to visit, read and learn from others.
An understanding of how to establish and instil consistently high standards of behaviour and a scholarly culture in an inner city school.
Ability to lead, coach and motivate staff within a performance management framework.
Motivation to help Floreat staff through day-to-day challenges whilst maintaining an underlying focus on developing their capacity to deliver the Knowledge and Virtue School Model.
Genuine belief in the potential of every child to be knowledgeable and virtuous.
Appreciation of the value of data to identify weaknesses and inform continual improvement.
Drive and perseverance continually to evaluate, improve and learn.

Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate.
A strong ethos of service and the desire to work collaboratively with partner stakeholders, agencies and peers within and beyond the Floreat network.
We will offer you:
A unique preparation and development programme – which we call Teacher Flourishing – including 15 days training before you start in September, a study trip to the US during the Summer half term, and 25% more planning, preparation and assessment time than normal.
A unique opportunity to be a founding school leader and help us build our innovative family of schools.
Support from a highly skilled executive and education team, including your Executive Principal who was previously head at an outstanding Camden primary school.
An opportunity to pioneer an exciting new curriculum with the support of Floreat’s own educational team.
The opportunity to grow and excel as a leader, and become Headteacher designate of Floreat Wandsworth in September 2017.
Potential candidates are invited to attend our information session on 25th February, which will enable you to meet the team and exercise your curiosity by asking any questions before applying for the role. Otherwise please feel free to pick up the phone (07808 967464) or read more on our website.
