In-House Recruiter and HR Executive – Let Me Play Ltd – London

Job Description
The role will sit as a central function to the organisation and is a new position. The company has strong growth plans and is seeing an increased number of recruits for full time staff members and contractors.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Ensuring timely recruitment of key staff and contractors that align with the company’s growth strategy.
Supporting with HR issues.
Management of our Careers Site (lmpcareers-site.com).
Management of staff on-boarding.
Management of performance management tools, staff away days and staff incentives.
Recruitment of head office staff and vocational teaching staff.
Recruitment of coaching and teaching staff (contractors – generally holiday roles).
Issuing contracts.
Checking new starter qualifications and permissions to work.
Taking references.
Hosting of recruitment days.
Delivery of assessment days.
To attend and engage in all relevant staff meetings, and maintain effective communication with staff, learners and other relevant organisations.
To undertake training and CPD as necessary and relevant to the post.
During times when recruitment is not taking place to contribute to the organisation as a whole and assist with operations.
To be familiar with the LMP Code of Conduct and all operational, Health & Safety, Child Protection and Data Protection policies.
To answer and respond to emails in a timely manner.
To attend departmental and office meetings as required.

Person Specification:
Experience of recruiting.
Excellent interview technique.
Innovative and can-do attitude.
Knowledge of competency based interviewing.
Experience of working in an HR and/or Recruitment Office.
Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
Knowledge of employment law.
Very personable.
Confident
Articulate
Good presentation skills

The In-house recruiter must have a passion for working with a dynamic organisation, be competent in the main functions of the role, be committed to raising standards, be reliable, enthusiastic and motivated. They must possess excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, ICT and management skills and be able to build and sustain effective working relationships with staff and partners.

Education and Experience:
Degree educated
1-3 years recruitment experience
Interest in sport (desirable)
HR knowledge (or willingness to learn)
IT Skills – excellent
