Job Description
Wasteland Ski and BUSC (British Universities Snowsports Council) are offering a competitive and exciting internship as a Marketing and Sales Coordinator. This opportunity is part of work aimed at the long term sustainability and development of the student snow sports programme throughout the UK.
The chosen candidate will have a working office to operate from and will receive a monthly salary. They will be responsible for all of the events set around all of the snowsports competitions. The role will largely be the same as the current organising committee but will have direct support from Wasteland to help organise and structure themselves. This will include the traditional visits to universities snow sports clubs, negotiations with venues, support for sponsor acquisition, developing the competitor and spectator experience at event after-parties, awards ceremonies. They will work extremely closely with the BUCS Sports Coordinator, who will provide support and advice from their experience.
