Job Description
Purpose:
To deliver the London FA’s discipline processes and investigations into on and off field behaviour, and reported misconduct. Then sanctioning and administering each case according to FA rules and regulations and timeframes
To deliver the club and leagues affiliation and sanctioning process, supporting the delivery of the London FA strategic plan and National Game Strategy in partnership with colleagues and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
To process and deliver with London FA Club Affiliations and League Sanctioning programme.
Deliver the performance framework that will support the delivery of the London FA Strategic Plan
Deliver the effective management of affiliation and sanctioning data through the Whole Game System to inform facilities planning and individual player registration
Assist the Head of Governance to co-ordinate and arrange discipline commissions, personal hearings and appeals and act as Secretary.
Thoroughly investigate each reported case of discipline, including aggravated cases.
Accurately administer each case along with the timely issuing of all charges/sanctions and related paperwork – online (WGS) and hard copy.
Provide up to date advice and support to Leagues and Clubs on all aspects of discipline and be the first point of contact for customers regarding discipline queries.
Update the whole game system and issue accurate discipline communication whilst liaising with the LFA Business Manager in order to ensure the website is kept up to date with discipline handbooks and guidelines.
Co-ordinate Football Debt Recovery process and produce end of season reports for colleagues and Leagues.
Provide information and regular discipline updates to CEO and colleagues.
Arrange regular meetings with Workforce Development Officer, County Welfare Officer and Football Development Officer (charter standard) regarding specific cases of bad practice and sanctions.
Inform & update Divisional members and Local Football Anti-Discrimination Panel members with the latest rules, guidance and information.
Support the delivery of the London FA strategic and individual delivery plans, especially the RESPECT campaign.
To provide general administration support to the team in order to assist with other duties including general enquiries, individual player registration, updating and maintaining player records, updating suspensions and taking payments.
To run workshops to support clubs and leagues affiliation and sanctioning process this would include WGS training.
To support the delivery of other key areas of the business as required.
