Job purpose

To develop and maintain profitable sales in line with company policy and procedures, meeting sales targets in respect of region, product and customer groups. The geographical area is postcode areas SW, WD, HA, N, NW, UB, W, WC, EC, E, SE, BR, CR,

Main responsibilities

The main duties involved in this role are:

to develop profitable sales within target areas, product groups and customer types
to market and promote the business, in order to establish and maintain strategic customer relationships, predominantly through interior designers, bathroom retailers, merchants and some smaller house developers
report to management on current/prospective orders, conversion rates, targets etc
work corporately as a key member of the sales team, taking an active role within company meetings
to understand and report where applicable, on the marketplace, (suppliers, customers, competitors) – to establish and monitor ‘market price’
attend occasional trade exhibitions in accordance with company procedures
maintain all company information and databases, recording and reporting systems (appointments, contact summary, travel expenses)
various other projects/duties that the management may require from time to time within the range of the competencies of the individual

Knowledge, skills and experience required

passion for interior design
candidates will possess a proven track record of building strong professional relationships and achieving annual targets
previous bathroom or kitchen sales would be a distinct advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
the successful individual should have excellent written and verbal skills, and be IT conversant
strong self-management and organisation skills along with a proven ability to work within a team environment
excellent customer focus

Remuneration

excellent salary range dependent on experience
annual bonus scheme – 15% of salary achievable
