Job Description

UK Anti-Doping is the national organisation dedicated to protecting a culture of clean sport. Every day we are raising awareness of the issues through our extensive education and testing programme. As well as helping athletes to understand and follow the rules, we also prosecute offenders. Ultimately we are working for everyone who loves sport whether competing, training or spectating. Together we are creating a level playing field where all athletes know they can compete fairly and in the true spirit of sport.

Job Purpose

Assist and contribute to the development, planning, implementation and successful delivery of UK Anti-Doping’s internal and external activities as they relate to Major Events and Business Development in the UK and abroad. Identify and exploit additional new revenue opportunities.

Person Specification

Qualifications/Experience

• Proven experience in project management and the use of project management tools/principles to effectively plan, implement, monitor and evaluate projects. This includes project planning, maintaining project documents and producing project communications
• Proven experience in developing, managing and delivering multiple concurrent projects
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with strong track record in creating new business and delivering sponsorship sales
• Preparation of sales or fundraising proposals, submission to customers or grant providers, negotiation and securing of the income streams
• Strong self-motivation, determination and results focused mind-set
• Great communication skills and ability to communicate well with people from various cultures and at different levels
• Affinity with sport
• Fluency in English essential with other languages considered an advantage.

• Ability to build and sustain relationships with a network of key people internally, and externally where appropriate
• Ability to plan and prioritise a range of project activity, coordinating a range of tasks/activities to ensure achievement of project milestones.
