The Role
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join the dynamic Marketing and Communication team at London Sport to support the delivery of the London Sport Awards – our annual celebration of grassroots physical activity and sport.
This is an exciting role that will support the London Sport Awards project team deliver our biggest event of the year. The role is split across 2 key areas – Marketing and Branding and Project Support.
What you’ll do:
Marketing and Branding:
• You will lead on the creative direction, production and installation of the in-venue branding including commissioning and managing an agency to deliver the collateral.
• You will oversee the design and development of digital assets to support the delivery of the sales marketing plan and commercial marketing plan.
• You will manage the production of all pre-event, in-event and post-event video content and AV including writing briefs, developing scripts and managing delivery agencies.
• You will manage the development of all event collateral including the event programme, table plans, invites and photo board. You will write the design briefs and manage the design and print agencies.
Project Support:
• You will lead on delegate management and monitoring and provide excellent customer service to VIPs, sponsors, nominees and guests.
• You will manage the end-to-end process for the filming of shortlisted nominees liaising with videographer and nominee organisations, maintaining clear communication with all parties, and ensuring production and sign-off are completed in a timely manner.
• You will provide administrative support to the London Sport Awards team.
Who you are:
• You are a team player who is willing to provide ad-hoc administrative support across the team, with great attention to detail and a thorough and methodical approach to your work
• You have strong project management skills with practical experience of managing multi agency projects
• You have experience of agency management in an event or marketing and branding context
• You have an excellent knowledge of the end-to-end process for the production of photo and video content
• You are a confident writer and have experience of developing briefs for marketing, branding and AV agencies
• You have experience of promotional asset design and development
