JOB TITLE: Movement Coach
DEPARTMENT: Chelsea Women RTC
REPORTING TO: RTC Manager
JOB FUNCTION: This person will be responsible for all performance related aspects of the RTC programme, alongside a second physical performance coach. To implement, create and deliver sessions to improve physical performance across the age groups, U10 – U16.
LOCATION: Cobham Training Ground and away fixtures.
CONTRACT: Sessional. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5.30pm. Saturday during the day.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):
To deliver high quality sessions across the centre, relevant to football specific movements.
To plan sessions to the ability of the current players and in accordance with the technical document and syllabus.
To work with the age group Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Medical Lead and Goalkeeping Coach, when planning the delivery of sessions.
To create football specific movement sessions, relevant for the age group and implement.
To report any safeguarding concerns to both the RTC Manager and RTC Welfare Officer.
To work with the RTC Technical Director, to ensure that football specific testing is completed and implemented.
Work closely with the Medical Team and support injury prevention as well as return to play protocols are followed.
To support on all players IDP’s and target setting meetings. This will be done in accordance of the RTC Technical Director and age group Head Coach.
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE (Here to Win):
Ability to deliver sessions based on accordance of the RTC Technical Director and in line with the technical document.
Delivery of high quality sessions, falling in line with FA requirements and elite level player’s ability.
Qualifications:
Essential
Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent.
FA Level 3 Physical Performance Award (or working towards).
CSCS or UKSCA accreditation.
Desirable
Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate.
FA Emergency Aid certification.
Experience:
Essential
Previous experience within football.
To keep confidential any information gained regarding the Club and its personnel.
Willingness to work weekends and training events when required.
To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times with excellent communication skills.
Experience in working alongside others and ability to lead on delivery of sessions.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and good humour.

The Employee must act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Company’s premises. The Employee must report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Safeguarding Lead.
