National Citizen Service Coordinator x2 – Wigan Athletic Community Trust

Job Description
Wigan Athletic Community Trust is recruiting for two NCS Coordinators for their National Citizen Service programme.
You will effectively engage with and manage relationships with schools, colleges, training/community providers and key delivery partners in order to plan, facilitate and deliver recruitment and promotional activities to maximise NCS programme participation
Fixed term: until 31st August 2021 in the first instance

You will:
•Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, colleges, local authorities and other key stakeholders to promote Wigan Athletic Community Trust’s NCS programme.
•Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure a year-round recruitment and engagement strategy is in place including school assemblies and parent’s evenings.
•Achieve weekly and monthly recruitment targets as set out by the NCS Manager.
•Deliver a robust and engaging strategy to maintain engagement with the young people throughout the year ensuring they complete the programme.
•Assist with the administrative and monitoring processes relating to NCS and ensuring all data is recorded accurately and securely on salesforce.
•Lead on the delivery of autumn and summer NCS programmes which includes working evenings, weekends and overnight residentials.

You will have:
•Demonstrable experience of working within partnership and multi-agency programmes
•Previous experience in youth work, teaching, instructing or coaching.
•Experience of working directly with groups of young people
•Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating activities.
•Experience of effectively implementing new and innovative ideas
