Operations Director- The Championships, Wimbledon

Job Description
The All England Lawn Tennis Club (Championships) Limited is looking for an Operations Director to join the Executive team responsible for organising and staging The Championships, Wimbledon.
The AELTC has delivered substantial top line growth in recent years and expects that growth to continue in conjunction with an ambitious investment programme in the years ahead, including the development of a new estate Master Plan.
The Championships are run by a Committee of Management consisting of 12 AELTC members and seven nominees from the LTA. The AELTC Board has Sub-Committees to look after all aspects of the tournament, which are supported by six full-time executives reporting to the Chief Executive.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, this role is responsible for the successful operational delivery of The Championships each year, including security and safety and food and drink. This will include building and maintaining relationships with external agencies and contractors critical to both long term strategic priorities as well as the delivery of The Championships including national and regional government, MPS, Local Authorities, Honorary Stewards, Armed Forces etc.
Working in close partnership with the CEO, Committee and Directors, the role will also be responsible for the strategic development of the Championships over the longer term, ensuring that it remains the premier tennis event in the world.
Responsible for establishing and delivering a vision for the year-round public offer with particular reference to customer experience in the Museum, Tour, Wingfield Café and Shop. Working with relevant Directors and Senior Managers to deliver this vision.
