Moore Performance Ltd has a sports injury clinic based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Due to our continued success, we need to expand our capacity to meet the increased demand from our customers. Therefore we have an opening for a part-time therapist.
The successful candidate will join a small but ambitious company and play a key role in helping us fulfill our mission of helping people make better decisions about their health. Our aim is to become the number one provider of sports injury services in this area.
The post holder will deliver a high quality specialist service by providing expert clinical intervention, education and support to our clients. We are looking for someone with the appropriate professional registration who would like to be part of this future.
–The role–
• Self-employed, part-time therapist
• 14 to 20 hours per week with the ability to increase by mutual agreement
• Flexible working hours to provide some patient appointments (and take calls from patients) outside normal work hours i.e. evenings and weekends
• Start and end times are negotiable and dependent on the availability of our treatment rooms
• Remuneration is on an attractive commission basis determined by skills and experience
• MPL will provide the treatment area; access to our website, booking/payment systems and cover all appropriate costs
–Duties–
• Carrying out clinical assessments and providing a range of treatments delivered to the highest standard
• In addition to the client-facing appointments you will be involved in helping to develop the business by:
o Creating internal and external marketing material (e.g. blog posts, free health reports, etc)
o Organising and participating in workshops and events to showcase MPL’s services
o Promoting and selling a range of MPL fitness merchandise
o Generating referrals (we expect you to be getting a significant number of appointments by referrals from satisfied clients within 2 months)
o Limiting missed appointments by contacting clients who have dropped off the schedule
• Compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations
–Qualifications and Experience–
• A minimum of BSc (Hons) or equivalent in a relevant profession (i.e. Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Osteopathy)
• Relevant registration & public liability insurance (CSP, HCPC, SST or GOsC)
• You will be expected to undertake, and contribute, to a minimum of 1 hour per week in-clinic Continued Professional Development
