Role Summary
This role will provide the delivery and development of Performance Lifestyle support to world class programme athletes complimenting the objectives of each sport and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
As a member of the Performance Lifestyle team at the EIS you will contribute to knowledge development, aggregation and sharing across the organisation to support the development of world class Performance Lifestyle services and practice.
This role will involve extensive collaboration as part of the multidisciplinary teams in and will include specifically:
British Skeleton
Leading the delivery of the induction, transition and exit processes for Skeleton athletes
Support Skeleton athletes as they work towards the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022 and the Milan/Cortina Winter Olympics in 2026
Wheelchair Fencing
Working closely with Lead Coach and Performance Psychologist to maintain and enhance Performance culture within the environment.
Supporting Games related processes and point of contact with British Paralympic Association for Friends and Family project and Games education project
Supporting athletes pre, during and post Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games and with other pre-Games activity such as media requests and anti-doping education commitments
All Performance Lifestyle practitioners, as with any other EIS practitioners, are expected to work within the HCSI Professional Code of practice to ensure the highest standards of practice are met at all times.
