Job Description
The LTA is the National Governing Body for tennis in Great Britain, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and is responsible for developing and promoting the sport while safeguarding the integrity of tennis. The LTA’s vision is “Tennis Opened Up” and its mission is to make tennis Relevant, Accessible, Welcoming and Enjoyable.
Working as part of the Sport Science and Sports Medicine (SS/SM) team, this position will support players and their coaches throughout the LTA network to manage their lifestyles to maintain success on and off court. Working closely with the SS/SM team this position will provide management of the Performance Lifestyle service as well as support and develop all aspects of players’ lifestyle and well-being in order to maximise performance.
The role would suit someone highly motivated with a passion for high performance sport with extensive experience in the provision of lifestyle support to high performers in sport or business; knowledge and understanding of Career Development and experience of delivering education and career development guidance and advice; strong planning, organisational, problem solving and decision making skills, alongside an ability to build and develop strong working relationships with people at various levels.
We are looking for someone to take this role on a part time (0.6 FTE – 3 days per week) basis for a period of 10 months.
